Two modifications of the tiling considered by Sebastian Truchet in 1704. The first level of tiling represents one bit by choosing between two possible ways to draw a path across a square. The second level makes larger tiles from a table of random bits by connecting first-level tiles. The third level connects a second level with three reoriented copies of the same tile.
