Touching Polygon Concurrence
Touching Polygon Concurrence
Suppose two regular -gons touch at a corner. Join their other corners—the lines meet in a single point! This is an example of concurrence, which means that three or more lines meet in a single point. As tends to infinity, the polygons tend to circles; the meeting point is the second point of intersection of the two circles.
