Spirals in Squares
Spirals in Squares
Start with a unit square and successively inscribe smaller squares that are rotated a constant amount. Four spirals emerge. The distance between the two green points governs the angle of rotation. You can see how the corresponding vertices of the successive squares form four spirals, especially with more squares and at values of close to 0 or 1.
