Sequential Substitution Networks

This Demonstration shows how to construct a causal network from a sequential substitution system. As the substitution system updates blocks of elements at each step, each updating event becomes a node in the causal network (an illustration of how this is done is shown with the evolution on the right). The causal network generated is shown on the left. The rule icon for the system is shown at the top.
The "steps" slider corresponds to steps in the sequential substitution system on the right, and maximum allowed events (number of nodes) of the causal network on the left.
