Rotation Illusion for Radial Wave Motion of Discrete Points

This Demonstration shows an illusion in which the brain perceives an apparent rotation of a figure made up of discrete points. Yet, if you follow a single point, you can see that it oscillates radially with no tangential motion. Set the display options and then select the "play" arrow to animate the points.
