WOLFRAM|DEMONSTRATIONS PROJECT

Rotating Plane with Intersecting Sphere and Circle

plane angle
sphere location
sphere radius
This Demonstration illustrates an example of the programming syntax that can be used to produce 3D graphics based on polar coordinates and one of Euler's identities (
exp(iθ)=cosθ+isinθ
). The techniques presented can readily be generalized for two-dimensional applications such as in programming virtual dials.
