Prefixes of Multiples

number
123
prefix
456
Given a natural number, among all its multiples there is one (in fact an infinite number) starting with any other we choose. This Demonstration lets you choose a positive number up to 1000 and a prefix, up to 10000, and shows the factor by which the given number must be multiplied to get a number with that prefix. Note that we could not have asked for a multiple ending in a given number.
