This Demonstration simulates the motion of a particle in a particular nonlinear force field. The particle's displacement from its initial position is also shown. The time point (blue) in the displacement plot indicates when the particle leaves the force field region. If the particle crosses the boundary more than once, only one time point will be calculated and shown in the plot, in order to avoid a time-consuming calculation of a full solution set.
