A palindrome is a word or phrase that reads the same in both directions. The word palindrome is derived from the Greek word palíndromos, which means "running back again". Examples of one-word palindromes include "eye" and "did". Two-word palindromes include "edit/tide" and "lived/devil". This Demonstration shows all the English palindromes that can be found using Mathematica's integrated dictionary.
