In differently shaped vessels used in a chemistry laboratory, the same volume of liquid might have a completely different appearance. In this Demonstration, a beaker, an Erlenmeyer flask, and a Florence flask can be filled with up to 100 mL of a liquid. You can vary the shapes of the three containers as well as the color of the liquid.
