Linear chromatography is a separation technique, applicable at very low concentrations, based on the assumption that the chromatogram signal is proportional to the equilibrium concentration. One of the first approximations for linear chromatography modeling was the plate model, based on the discretization of the total column length, providing a number of stages or theoretical plates. This Demonstration is based on the error function approximation for the plate model.
