Light Refraction with a Waterdrop
Light Refraction with a Waterdrop
This model shows how a fluorescent particle emits light from within a water droplet. In particular, you can change the wavelength, as well as the particle position and emission direction. If you move the particle outside the droplet boundary, then the droplet changes into an air bubble within a surrounding water environment. The three-dimensional droplet shape was derived from a video snapshot of an actual falling water droplet.
