Japanese Kanji
Japanese Kanji
The Japanese language uses three different writing systems: hiragana, katakana and kanji. Kanji is a system of Japanese writing that uses Chinese characters and is considered the most difficult of the three. This Demonstration lets you learn, memorize and practice 10 different kanji and some different combinations of kanji that make up meaningful words. You can see the definition of a single character and how the combination of two different characters can create a new word. For meaningless combinations, no definition is given.
