Starting with a pair of cubes, the ratio of whose edge lengths is equal to the golden ratio, a spatial lattice can be built by translating the cubes in three directions. This Demonstration shows several examples of the many structures that can be made in this way if the cubes are replaced with other similarly sized polyhedra. Use this to explore possible crystal and architectural structures.
