Generating a Cardioid VI: Reflected Rays
A point (red) is taken on a circle; from it, a ray of light falls on any arbitrary point on the circle and is then reflected from the circle. (The angle of incidence with the circle's tangent is equal to the angle of reflection.) The envelope of the reflected rays is a cardioid.
