This Demonstration shows an animation of the flight of the Dawn spacecraft's mission to two big asteroids, Vesta and Ceres. This spacecraft used a technique called gravitational assist with Mars on February 18, 2009.
The orbits of the planets have the following colors: Mercury: orange, Venus: brown, Earth: blue, Mars: red, Jupiter: brown. The two asteroids have these colors: Vesta: cyan, Ceres: pink.
