Continuous Cellular Automaton with Math Rules II
The colors of cells in this continuous cellular automaton (CCA) are real numbers. CCAs are analogous to totalistic cellular automata, in which the cells are calculated as a sum of the 3 neighbor cells (for ). The rule calculates the mean of the 3 cells and keeps both the integer and real part of the result. It is possible to use values from mathematical functions such as sinc and sine or numerical sequences such as noise (random real numbers) as initial conditions.

The density and contour views the CCA evolution different from the traditional discrete data plot.
