Consider a binary mixture of acetone and water. The Wilson model is used to predict several dimensionless excess thermodynamic properties, such as the Gibbs free energy,
e
G
RT
, enthalpy,
e
H
RT
, entropy,
e
S
R
, and heat capacity,
e
C

.
This Demonstration plots these four thermodynamic properties for selected values of temperature. A comparison with a calculation done by Dr. Marcelo Castier at
T=344K
is also shown, in good agreement for all the computed excess functions.
