Choose the material of a metal wire, its length (in mm), its diameter (in AWG or mm) and the temperature to determine the resistance of the wire.
The resistance of the wire at the specified temperature is displayed in the box. Use the button "save for comparison" to add additional materials (using the "metals" drop-down list) of different thickness and length; the variation as a function of temperature of all the metals added is displayed graphically.
