This is a cellular automaton model of a fluid. Each cell of the hexagonal lattice contains up to six particles moving in up to six different directions. Considering all possible combinations of directions for each number of particles, the system evolves by applying a set of rules for movement and interaction. The model is set up to include walls. This is only a toy example useful to understand the model; phenomena like turbulence can be seen in a large simulation.
