This Demonstration shows the image of a grid in the plane under a selection of conformal mappings. You can choose between Cartesian or polar functions. For polar functions, that is, those based on a circular grid, the rendering of the last six examples is longer than for the others; their equations are omitted from the menu due to their complexity.
