About the Artists of the Graphica Book Series

Michael Trott MICHAEL TROTT studied physics at the Humboldt-University of Berlin and received his Ph.D. in theoretical solid state physics at the Technical University of Ilmenau. He has been a member of the Kernel Research and Development team at Wolfram Research, Inc. since 1994. Dr. Trott has created thousands of Mathematica images, including those found in Graphica 1 and The Mathematica Book, as well as many Mathematica-related book covers and promotional materials.



Igor Bakshee IGOR BAKSHEE has worked in the electronics industry and held research and senior research positions in the Ukraine and Japan. He has been a member of the Applications Development team at Wolfram Research, Inc. since 1994 and wrote the award-winning application Control System Professional. Dr. Bakshee has created highly successful designs for several major textile manufacturers in Japan and the United States. He is also the author of Artlandia, a Mathematica-based application for creative graphic design. Dr. Bakshee's artwork is highlighted in Graphica 2.



John Bonadies JOHN BONADIES started his career in New York City and was responsible for the visual identity campaign of Mathematica and Wolfram Research for 10 years. He is a graduate of Indiana University and has an MFA in graphic design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Bonadies is the Graphica series editor and designer.
