Solution SG 30
Solution SG 30
A voltage divider is made of two 1Ω resistors. Two black boxes are now made, one of which contains the Thevinin equivalent of the voltage divider, the other contains the Norton equivalent of the voltage divider. How would you correctly identify the content of the black-boxes? (This is a problem I have heard of; but I don't have a proper citation.)
The Norton equivalent circuit will be thermally warmer, because it’s constantly dissipating power in the resistor that is parallel to the current source.
