Two cubes related to rhombic enneacontahedron
by Sandor Kabai
Two cubes are associated with a rhombic enneacontahedron (RE). A smaller cube is within the RE with coinciding vertices. A larger cube envelopes the RE with coinciding faces. A rhombic dodecahedron (RD) is also shown, which has faces coinciding with the faces of RE. Perforating the faces can facilitate the understanding of these relationships. A cylinder is is included to indicate the axis of RE.
