Bookmarks 10 &11: Dynamic behavior of the Electron in the Spinning Particle Model
As we will see in these articles, many real - life results can be obtained with the Spinning Particle Model : collisions between electrons with or without sharp angle scattering even at high energies, forward scattering, paired electrons as boson condensates (negative charges with parallel spins, attracting each other and forming a stable bound state of spin 1) and electrons behavior in electric and magnetic fields and Penning traps.

2. Main findings described in this article

Let’s first have an overview of the findings that we will derive in the next sections:An elementary particle in spacetime is described by the maximal set of 10 variables associated to the parameterization of the Poincaré group: time, position, velocity and orientation (t,

r
,
v
,
α
).The point
r
moves at the constant speed c for all inertial observers. The point
q
represents the location of the Center of Mass of the particle because its velocity defines the linear momentum
P
, and it is a different point from the point
r
.The point
r
represents the Center of Charge of the particle because the Interaction Lagrangian is defined at this point. The electromagnetic external forces are defined in this point
r
. All observables: energy, linear momentum, angular momentum, Center of Mass position, angular velocity and spin are expressed in terms of this point
r
and its time derivatives. The motion of the CC is, in general, a curve with torsion what is known in the literature as the zitterbewegung motion, trembling motion, a term from quantum theory describing rapid oscillations. The Spin with respect to CC,
S
, is orthogonal to the velocity
u
and acceleration
a
of
r
and represents the classical version of Dirac’s spin operator. Since we have another characteristic point the CM
q
, we can define the spin with respect to
q
,
S
CM
