Difficulties with a Stochastic Variable

Here is a completely reasonable result :
In[]:=
Table[RandomReal[],5]
Out[]=
{0.605305,0.349978,0.571976,0.258757,0.825687}
Make this a bit more automated with the definition of fivetries:
In[]:=
fivetries@arg_:=Table[arg,5]
This example works splendidly :
In[]:=
fivetries@x
Out[]=
{x,x,x,x,x}
But this example is a failure :
In[]:=
fivetries@RandomReal[]
Out[]=
{0.620535,0.620535,0.620535,0.620535,0.620535}
So how can I redefine fivetries so that
fivetries@RandomReal[]
is equivalent to
Table[RandomReal[],5]
??
