I think AnatomyPlot3D has been around since version 11 but I never had a good reason to fully dive into it until now! For a new project I needed loads and loads of anatomical images of the muscles of the lower limb. Instead of searching the web for the images I needed I wrote some Mathematica code (see below) to generate them for me (and as a bonus I also used Mathematica to generate most of the YML/MD files needed to generate the Jekyll webpages).
See some examples of the GiFs below.
The webpages look like this. https://www.muscle-atlas.org/muscle/

Getting the 3D graphics

plBones=AnatomyPlot3DEntity["AnatomicalStructure",#]&/@bones,
skeleton of foot
ANATOMICAL STRUCTURE
,PlotTheme->"Vintage";plMusHip=AnatomyPlot3D[{AnatomyStyling[Opacity[.1]],Entity["AnatomicalStructure",#]&/@("Hip"/.muscles)}];plMusThigh=AnatomyPlot3D[{AnatomyStyling[Opacity[.1]],Entity["AnatomicalStructure",#]&/@("Thigh"/.muscles)}];plMusLeg=AnatomyPlot3D[{AnatomyStyling[Opacity[.1]],Entity["AnatomicalStructure",#]&/@("Leg"/.muscles)}];plAll=Show[plBones,plMusHip,plMusThigh,plMusLeg];

Setting the animations ranges

ranges=PlotRangeAnatomyPlot3D
hip bone
ANATOMICAL STRUCTURE
,PlotRangeAnatomyPlot3D
hip bone
ANATOMICAL STRUCTURE
,
femur
ANATOMICAL STRUCTURE
,PlotRangeAnatomyPlot3D
tibia
ANATOMICAL STRUCTURE
,
skin of foot
ANATOMICAL STRUCTURE
;

Graphics rotation

ors=Chop[Table[RotationMatrix[aDegree,{0,0,1}].{2.,0.,0.},{a,0,359,22.5}]];

Animation titles

ToName=StringTrim[StringJoin[Riffle[StringSplit[StringReplace[#,"HeadOf"->""],s_?UpperCaseQ:>s],{""," "}]]]&;

Creating and exporting the animations

(reg=#;muscs=reg/.muscles;(mus=#;plMus=AnatomyPlot3D[Entity["AnatomicalStructure",mus]];{pr,pad}=Switch[reg,"Hip",{ranges[[1]],35},"Thigh",{ranges[[2]],42},"Leg",{ranges[[3]],{30,30,{0,65}}}];plot=Show[plAll,plMus,PlotRange->pr,PlotRangePadding->pad,SphericalRegion->True,ImageSize->400,ImagePadding->{{0,0},{0,40}},Epilog->{Text[Style["by Martijn Froeling, PhD.\n using Mathematica",TextAlignment->Right,Bold],Scaled[{0.8,0.075}]],Text[Style[ToName[mus],Bold,TextAlignment->Center,FontSize->32],Scaled[{0.5,0.975}]]}];pl=(pl=Show[plot,ViewPoint->ors[[#]]];Export["muscle images\\"<>StringJoin[Riffle[{reg,mus,ToString[#]},"-"]]<>".png",pl,ImageResolution->150,"ImageEncoding"->"LZW"];pl)&/@Range[Length[ors]];Export["muscle images\\"<>StringJoin[Riffle[{reg,mus},"-"]]<>".gif",pl,ImageResolution->100,AnimationRepetitions->Infinity,"DisplayDurations"->0.18];)&/@muscs;)&/@{"Hip","Thigh","Leg"}
