Sol LeWitt (1928-2007)
Minimal and Conceptual Artist
The idea becomes a machine that makes the art.

This notebook is dedicated to one of my favorite artists, Sol Lewitt. Sol LeWitt stated that ideas, not physical creations, are the substance of art. He therefore developed instructions for drawings that can be created by anyone. I restrict myself here to black and white pentagrams, that were also used by Sol LeWitt. And HatchFilling is used doing the trick.
First example:

Image[With[{d=25},With[{star=Polygon[1.5pentagram]},Graphics[{{HatchFilling[π/2,d/2,d],Rectangle[{-1.5,-1.4},{1.5,1.6}]},{{Black,star},White,HatchFilling[π/2,d/2,d],star},{EdgeForm[Black],LightGray,framerectangle[{-1.5,-1.4},{1.5,1.6},0.05]}},PlotRangePadding->None]]]]

Second example:
