Period and Frequency

vary period and frequency
overlap
See the relation between period and frequency for a wave. Period is the time needed to complete an oscillation and frequency is the number of oscillations per second, that is, one is the reciprocal of the other. A set of waves is shown, each one having a frequency that doubles the previous one (or a period that is half the previous one).
