Rational Cubic Bézier Curves
Rational Cubic Bézier Curves
This Demonstration shows a rational cubic Bézier curve, with green marks at two-thirds the distance of the points and to the intersection of and . When you drag the points and to the green marks and set the parameter to 1, the resulting curve is equivalent to a normal () quadratic Bézier curve with points , , and , where is the red point of intersection. This is not the case if ≠1.
