The National Hurricane Center provides a convenient RSS feed to track active hurricane advisories. You can import the RSS as an XML expression using Import:

Next you can process the XML expression into a more readable Dataset using Cases and pattern matching to transform the data as desired. Here I am selection 4 fields of interest: title, description, publication date, and a URL to the relevant geographical data:

We can now operate on this dataset and generate a notebook report that shows the advisories and the corresponding geo-visual representations. Rerunning this notebook at a later point in time will regenerate this report with the latest available data:
