A pentaprism is a five-sided optical device with two reflecting surfaces that rotates a beam 90 degrees without altering the orientation of the image, as do two mirrors at 45 degrees.
The view is a 2D cross section from the side. You can shift or rotate the light source or the prism by dragging the red or blue dots, or by using the sliders.
