Natatory Bladder of a Fish

The natatory bladder is an internal gas-filled organ that fish use to control their buoyancy. Due to Archimedes' principle, increasing the volume of the bladder moves the fish upward because its average density decreases. A submarine operates by an analogous mechanism.
