Inside the Rhombic Hexecontahedron
Inside the Rhombic Hexecontahedron
Twenty golden rhombohedra form a star, shaped like the rhombic hexecontahedron (a stellation of the rhombic triacontahedron). If half of each rhombohedron is removed, then the edges of the remaining solid are identical to those of a truncated icosahedron (buckyball). An icosahedron is left at the center if further parts are removed.
