I am importing text information that resides in a Microsoft OneNote file on my computer into a Wolfram notebook, see example below. In the example below, Academics is the file directory that the Microsoft OneNote file (named Math.one) resides. Since I cannot figure out how to import the record that I want to import, which is “Eight basic types of functions” , the import function will import the last document that was viewed while in Microsoft OneNote, which may not be the document that I want (basically it could import any document). I need to be able to import the exact document/record needed. Therefore , I need assistance in figuring out how to code into the SystemOpen[] function the desired document/record, which is in this case the document/record “Eight basic types of functions” that resides in the Microsoft OneNote File Math.one.
It seems that there should be some way to drop down and specify another level down using the SystemOpen[] function to select the desired document name (Eight basic types of functions) that is somewhat similar to selecting an exact spreadsheet tab when opening a Microsoft spreadsheet consisting of many tabs.
It seems that there should be some way to drop down and specify another level down using the SystemOpen[] function to select the desired document name (Eight basic types of functions) that is somewhat similar to selecting an exact spreadsheet tab when opening a Microsoft spreadsheet consisting of many tabs.
My original SystemOpen[] function (which worked) is shown below:
SystemOpen["C:\\Users\\masandlin\\Documents\\Data\\OneNoteDB\\Academics\\Math.one"]
When I launched OneNote and right click on a page label and selected Copy Link to Page. I end up with the following, which somewhat follows what I had before with the exception of including the page information starting with the #.
onenote:///\\CLIENT001\Users\masandlin\Documents\Data\OneNoteDB\Academics\Math.one#Eight%20basic%20types%20of%20functions§ion-id={C98F347D-F45A-4FA6-A543-2D9C355B04B5}&page-id={FF16FCD3-831D-41FC-9F1B-F9440EE02D11}&end
onenote:///\\CLIENT001\Users\masandlin\Documents\Data\OneNoteDB\Academics\Math.one#Eight%20basic%20types%20of%20functions§ion-id={C98F347D-F45A-4FA6-A543-2D9C355B04B5}&page-id={FF16FCD3-831D-41FC-9F1B-F9440EE02D11}&end
So I assumed that all I needed to do was to just add the page label information, that I copied from OneNote, to the end of the existing SystemOpen[] function as shown below, which of course does not produce the desired document (or any document) or gives any error messages:
SystemOpen["C:\\Users\\masandlin\\Documents\\Data\\OneNoteDB\\Academics\\Math.one#Eight%20basic%20types%20of%20functions§ion-id={C98F347D-F45A-4FA6-A543-2D9C355B04B5}&page-id={FF16FCD3-831D-41FC-9F1B-F9440EE02D11}&end"]
At this point, I am not sure where the problem lies.
